Car rental

On Bonaire a rental car is not a convenience, it is the transport system: there is no functioning bus and no ride-hailing, and the beaches, dive sites and viewpoints are spread over 39 kilometres of island. Almost everything on this island is reachable in a small car — the exception is Washington Slagbaai, which asks for 30 centimetres of ground clearance and where rangers turn low cars away at the gate. If the park is in your plan, rent the pickup for the whole trip rather than for one day.
