RoyalCar Rental Bonaire is a car rental company at Kaya L.D. Gerharts 9, which puts it in the centre of Kralendijk rather than on the industrial estate by the airport where most of its competitors sit.
That location is the practical difference. If you are staying in town and only want a car for part of your stay — a day for the north, a day for Lac Bay, and the rest on foot — you can walk to the counter instead of arranging a lift to Kaya Industria. It also means picking up and dropping off fits around a morning in town.
The fleet covers the usual range from compact cars up to larger vehicles, and delivery to the airport or your accommodation can be arranged. Expect around forty dollars a day for a compact, and note that a weekly rate is well below seven daily ones — if you want the car for four days or more, ask for the week. The handover takes about a quarter of an hour. Ask about the deductible: on Bonaire five hundred to a thousand dollars is standard unless you buy full cover, and check whether the agreement lets you drive into Washington Slagbaai, which is unpaved track.
