The honest answer is that Bonaire has no beach you can walk to in ten minutes. The boulevard starts at the pier and it is pleasant, but it is a seawall with ladders into the water, not sand. The first real beach is a fifteen-minute drive south, and the two that people remember are half an hour out. If your ship is in for six hours that is still comfortable — it is one beach, not three.
