Handelskade

You are now standing at Handelskade, the most iconic waterfront in Willemstad. The colorful buildings you see were constructed between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. They once housed merchants, warehouses, and offices connected to international trade. Today, these historic facades form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Handelskade remains one of the most photographed views in all of Curaçao.
