Grandsock Ocean Club

It is a resort beach club with a PADI five-star dive centre attached, directly on the water, which makes it one of the few places on the island where you can dive in the morning and not have to move for the rest of the day. Restaurant and bar face west over the sea, so the sunset arrives at the table. Non-residents are welcome.

Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ring (+599) 717 5363 for the current hours and to reserve, particularly around sunset. Prices are resort level rather than local. Half a day if you come for the beach, two hours for a meal. It is five minutes from town, so it works as an easy afternoon without planning a trip around it.
