Sorobon Reefbar

It sits on the shallow turquoise lagoon that makes this side of the island what it is, and it is open to anyone — not only to guests of the resort. The kitchen mixes fresh seafood with international dishes, and the chef will do vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free versions on request, which on a small island is not a given and is worth asking about when you book.

Open every day from 08:00 to 18:00 — a day bar rather than an evening one, so it is breakfast, lunch and a late-afternoon drink rather than dinner. Parking is on the resort grounds. Prices are resort level. Half an hour for a drink, two hours for a meal; combine it with a morning on Sorobon Beach, which is a two-minute walk away.
