About Playa St. Joris
Playa St. Joris is a vast, windswept bay on Curaçao’s northeast coast and the island’s main hub for wind and kitesurfing. Shallow waters and steady wind create ideal conditions for both beginners and experienced riders. Colorful kites fill the sky while boards slice through the water, creating a dynamic and cinematic scene. On weekends, local surf schools add to the energetic community vibe. This bay is not suited for snorkeling or diving, as it is dedicated to wind sports. Even as a spectator, the wide horizons and constant motion are impressive. It reveals a wilder, more adventurous side of the island.
