Aqua Space

The boat has a history: it was designed by the French architect Jacques Rougerie and used by Jacques Cousteau's team for marine research before it was converted for passengers.

Trips go west to Klein Bonaire, with time at anchor for snorkelling straight off the boat, drinks and something to eat on board. Under sail it is quiet in a way a motorboat is not, and on the sunset run the light on the west coast is the whole point. The deck is shaded and there is room to lie down.

Reckon on half a day for the snorkel trip and two to three hours for the sunset sail. Prices depend on the trip and the season, and the boat takes a limited number, so book ahead — especially on cruise days. Mornings for snorkelling, late afternoon for the sail.
