About Summer Breeze Tours
The snorkel-and-brunch trip is what they are known for: a morning sail to Klein Bonaire, guided snorkelling over the reef, and brunch served on board between stops. Klein Bonaire is the uninhabited islet a mile offshore — there is no jetty, no shade and no shop on it, so the only way to snorkel there is from a boat, and that is why almost every operator on the island goes to the same place.
Trips run in the morning and at the end of the afternoon, and the whole west coast is in the lee of the island, so the water is calm on days when the east side is unswimmable. Reckon on half a day. Expect somewhere between eighty and a hundred and fifty dollars a head depending on what is included; a private charter is priced per boat, not per person. Book ahead — the boats are small and in high season they fill.
