If a strap has snapped, a rash guard has worn through or you have arrived without a hat, this is the shop on the island most likely to have it.

One thing worth knowing before you buy sun protection anywhere on Bonaire: sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate have been banned here since 2021 because of the damage they do to coral. Shops in Kralendijk stock reef-safe alternatives, and a long-sleeved rash guard does the same job without any of it.

Open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 and closed on Sunday, like most shops on Kaya Grandi. Prices are broadly Dutch prices with a little added for shipping — almost everything on Bonaire arrives by boat. Fifteen minutes is enough unless you are trying things on.
