The Dock Restaurant

It runs from seven in the morning until ten at night, every day of the week — breakfast, lunch and dinner without a gap, which on Bonaire is unusual and makes it a reliable fallback when other kitchens have closed between services. The setting is the marina rather than the open sea: boats, masts and a pool, quieter than the boulevard a few minutes away.

Thursday evening is a barbecue night and worth reserving for; the rest of the week a table is usually available. Prices sit in the middle of the Kralendijk range. An hour for lunch, two for dinner. Being on Kaya Internationaal puts it a short walk from the centre but off the main strip, so it is calmer on a cruise day.
