About Mezze

The format is the name: small dishes meant to be ordered together and put in the middle of the table. Hummus and dips made in-house, skewers off the grill, and pita straight out of a wood-fired oven, with enough vegetarian and vegan plates on the list that a mixed table is easy. Four or five dishes between two people is about right.

Open daily from 18:00 to 22:30, closed Sunday and Monday. Dinner only. Because you order several small plates the bill adds up differently than a main course, so it is worth deciding a number before you start. There are tables inside and out; reserve for the terrace, which is where the harbour view is. Two hours.

On prices: four or five plates between two people works out around what two main courses cost elsewhere on this boulevard, and you get more variety for it. The kitchen is one of the few on Bonaire where a vegetarian or vegan table is not an afterthought, which is worth knowing if you are travelling with one.
