Ingridients Restaurant

Ingridients Restaurant, written Ingridiënts on its own sign, is a restaurant on the grounds of Buddy Dive Resort at Kaya Gobernador N. Debrot 85, on the coast about five minutes north of Kralendijk.

The kitchen is Mediterranean and works with what lands locally: dorade baked in a salt crust, tarte flambée in several versions, and a Parmesan and truffle pasta that regulars come back for. It sits directly on the water, so the tables face west over the sea — this is one of the easier sunset dinners on the island because you do not need to be in town for it.

Open Thursday to Monday from 17:30 to 22:00; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. You do not need to be staying at Buddy Dive to eat here. Book a table before 18:30 if you want to be seated for the sunset, and reserve in high season either way. Two hours.

Prices are at the higher end for Bonaire, in line with the other waterfront kitchens rather than with the resort restaurants around it. Parking is on the Buddy Dive grounds, which saves the hunt for a space in town — one of the quiet advantages of eating five minutes out.
