About Biña Restaurant
The name is the Papiamentu word for wine, and that is the point: the founders are connected to Alpasión, an organic vineyard estate in Argentina, so the pairings are unusually good for a resort restaurant. The kitchen works with seafood and a changing à la carte menu, alongside chef's menus of three, four or five courses.
Open Thursday to Monday from 17:00, with the kitchen serving between 18:00 and 22:00; closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Non-residents are welcome and can park on site from 17:30. Reserve — it is a small dining room and the chef's menu is prepared to order. Allow two and a half to three hours for a full menu.
Prices are fine-dining prices and among the higher ones on the island; the chef's menus cost more than eating à la carte and the wine pairing is charged on top. If the wine is what draws you, the pairing is where the money is best spent here — it is the reason the restaurant exists.
