Pick-up is from your accommodation in or around Kralendijk.

There are two standard routes. The northern one takes in 1000 Steps, Gotomeer and Rincon; the southern one the salt pans, the slave huts and Sorobon. Both can be walked in part rather than driven, which is unusual here and the reason to pick this one — most tours keep you in the vehicle.

Reckon on half a day per route, and take water and a hat for the walking sections — there is next to no shade on either route. Prices depend on the group and the programme; ask when you book. Mornings are cooler and better for walking, and you book ahead — this is one guide, not a fleet, so a day or two's notice matters in high season.
