About Luc’s Private Group Bonaire Open Bus Tour
Pick-up is in and around Kralendijk.
The route takes in the salt pans, the slave huts, the flamingos at Pekelmeer and the viewpoints, with stops chosen for what photographs well rather than for what a guidebook lists. Luc drives and guides himself, and the bus goes out for one group at a time — you are not sharing with strangers.
The tour runs about three hours. It is priced per group rather than per person, from around three hundred and ninety dollars, which makes it good value for four or more and expensive for two. Go in the late afternoon for the light, and book ahead — there is one bus. An open bus means no air conditioning and no roof over the seats, so a hat and sunscreen are not optional.
