About The Coffee Bar Bonaire
The beans are imported from the Netherlands and Italy and the coffee is the reason people come back, but there is a full breakfast and lunch menu behind it: sandwiches, croissants, smoothie bowls. It fills up with a mix of residents and divers coming off a morning dive, and it is one of the few places in town where sitting alone with a laptop does not feel out of place.
The one thing to plan around: this is a morning and midday place. The kitchen and the counter close in the middle of the afternoon, around 15:00, so it is breakfast, coffee or lunch — not an afternoon espresso on the way back from the beach. Phone +599 701 8565 to check before a late arrival. Prices are café prices, a few dollars for coffee and roughly double that for a sandwich, which is modest for the centre of Kralendijk. An hour for lunch, twenty minutes for a coffee.
