Hang Out Beachbar

The name comes from the early days, when there were no bar stools and windsurfing harnesses were strapped to the bar so you could literally hang in one. It still faces the lagoon, so you watch the sailors while you eat: sandwiches, salads and grilled dishes, nothing complicated, and a bar that runs all day.

Open Monday to Wednesday and Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00, Sunday from 09:00 to 21:00, and Thursday from 08:00 through to 23:00 with a table barbecue from six. The Sunday beach party runs from 15:00 to 21:00 — that and Thursday evening are the two to aim for if you want it lively, and the other days if you do not. Prices are beach-bar prices rather than restaurant ones, which after a twenty-minute drive is a fair trade. Half a day.
